We want to remove barriers...
At R-evolution our vision is to make being active an option for everybody and to help our communities feel fitter through active travel and gardening activities.
By being outdoors, we can improve our mental health and wellbeing, whilst both improving our environment and sense of self. We want to remove barriers by providing the physical tools, services and knowledge, as well as creating opportunities for skill development and improved confidence.

Our Aims

To encourage active travel by helping people get to work or shops via cycling

To help combat climate change by offering horticultural training to help people grow their own plants and crops, providing carbon neutral travel for cleaner air, and offering a recycling alternative for something that may otherwise go to landfill.

To give people an opportunity to be more active and social through cycling and gardening events and projects to improve their health and wellbeing.

To upskill individuals in the community who may be struggling to find work or want a change in career through our training courses.
Neil’s Story
Neil’s story explains how being a part of our training programme changed his life for the better. In fact, he liked it so much he still volunteers for us today. You can usually find him on site, at events, or out in the van collecting vital donations, and he is almost always finding a new way to make us laugh.

"Helpful, friendly staff who all know their stuff and great value bikes for sale. This charity should receive more publicity and get more credit. They're turning lives around and doing a fantastic job."

The Full Cycle R-evolution's first storybook
We are proud to bring you Full Cycle, the storybook that tells the journey your donated bikes goes through when it enters R-evolution.
Created internally by our own staff and our first Kickstarter, the story follows a much loved bike that is inevitably outgrown and is given to our volunteer to be taken back to our training facility to be refurbished.
