This summer, our Doctor Bike events made a big impact in Scunthorpe, repairing 68 bikes and donating 5 to local children. Supported by Aviva Crowd Funding, The Big Bike Revival, and a generous £500 donation from Humber Bridge Sportive, these events were more than just bike repairs—they brought the community together through shared stories, donations, and support. Read more to see how these efforts fostered community spirit and encouraged healthier, sustainable living.

Key Highlights:

68 Bikes Repaired: Across six events, we serviced 68 bikes, including 22 fully serviced bikes.
5 Bikes Donated: We were able to donate 5 bikes, with 2 gifted to local children after being fully serviced.
Community Engagement: These events became more than just repair workshops; they turned into community gatherings, where residents shared stories, advice, and even homemade soup and cookies!

A special thank you goes to the Humber Bridge Sportive for their incredible £500 donation, which, along with the match funding, significantly boosted our efforts.

These events have proven that when a community comes together, amazing things can happen. We are grateful to everyone involved our mechanic staff, volunteers, and all those who donated and participated. Your support has truly made a difference!

We look forward to building on this success with more initiatives in the future.
